What is it?
The RDNS After Hours Telephone Support Service (AHTSS) is available to:
- respond to enquiries from clients receiving care from RALLY Healthcare
- provide support and direction to RALLY Healthcare staff
- be an after hours contact point for organisations purchasing care from RALLY Healthcare.
The AHTSS operates between 5.30 pm and 7.30 am 365 days per year and between 7.30am and 5.30pm on weekends and public holidays.
Our nurses can help you by
The AHTSS is staffed by a team of Registered Nurses (Division 1) who have highly developed triage and assessment skills and a comprehensive knowledge of community services.
The AHTSS supports provision of client care by:
- Responding to clients, staff or purchasers in relation to clinical aspects of care
- Assisting in problem solving including identification of client needs and where appropriate, arranging for a nurse to visit the client
- Providing information about other community and health services available
- Monitoring staff security and respond promptly to emergency calls from staff
- Liaising between day, evening and night staff to facilitate effective communication links
- Engaging interpreter services to ensure that clients with no or little English are able to receive appropriate care.
