Our nurses can help you by

RALLY Healthcare provides the following private nursing services:

  • Catheter care
  • Continence care
  • Medication administration
  • Nutrition (specialist tube feeding)
  • Tracheostomy care
  • Wound management
  • Stomal therapy.

How can your patients access these services?

If patients being treated in hospital are HBA members with hospital cover (except public hospital - Table L) they can elect to be treated as a privately funded client of RALLY Healthcare.

If the HBA member elects to be treated privately by RALLY Healthcare, they are eligible to receive nursing care in their home or at a RALLY Healthcare nursing clinic without any out of pocket expenses, up to their benefit limit of $1,414 (including GST) per calendar year ($1,532 including GST for Stomal Therapy).

If the HBA member reaches their benefit limit, and still requires nursing care, they may, if eligible continue to receive care as a client of  RDNS Home and Community Care (HACC) program in accordance with the HACC fee schedule. The RALLY Healthcare nurse will be able to explain this further to the member.

If the HBA member elects not to use their private cover they can be treated as a client of RDNS Home and Community Care program, or another service provider, according to the HACC fee schedule, however they will need to be eligible to receive HACC services and they may encounter a waiting period.

The HBA Referral Form can be used to fax the information required to refer a HBA client to the HBA Members First Nursing Service.
