What is it?

RALLY Healthcare provides clients living in nursing homes and hostels with nursing services 24 hours per day, 365 days per year. The aged care facility is responsible for purchasing nursing care on a fee-for-service basis.

RALLY Healthcare can provide the following nursing services:

  • Wound management (eg. post surgical, chronic ulcers, wound drainage)
  • Continence management and catheter care
  • Medication administration (eg. injections, suppositories) 
  • Diabetes management
  • Nutrition (eg. gastrostomy feeding, enteral feeding)
  • Palliative care
  • Stomal therapy (eg. colostomy/ileostomy care)
  • Breast cancer management
  • Allied health (eg. physiotherapy).

All care provided by RALLY Healthcare is performed in accordance with RDNS policies and procedures.

The RDNS Helen Macpherson Smith Institute of Community Health provides an Education and Training Consultancy and a range of training programs for aged care facility staff. Programs can be provided to registered nurses (Division 1 and 2), personal care attendants, kitchen and laundry staff and family members.

How you can access these services

All it takes is a phone call to our Clinical Service team and we will assist you to identify your client's needs, provide professional advice and where appropriate, arrange for a nurse to visit the client. Contact us for further information.
